What to Expect

Our goal at Stars Beauty Day Spa is to make your visit with us as relaxing and enjoyable as possible, so please wear your most comfortable clothing and leave your jewellery at home. When you arrive for your appointment, just leave everything to our qualified staff. A robe and slippers will be provided to you, and you can even bring your own slippers if you choose to do so. Private changing areas are available for your convenience. We appreciate our clients arriving on time.

You may request a specific therapist and/or esthetician when booking your appointment and we will do our utmost to ensure your request for that individual is fulfilled. All Spa staff are trained to respect the privacy of our clients and to create a comfortable and relaxing environment, each and every time.

Children Policy

Children under the age of 12 are not permitted in the Spa. This is to ensure complete comfort and relaxation for all Spa guests. We ask that you not bring children and leave them unattended. This is very disruptive to other clients and unsafe for children. As a courtesy to other clients and for health and safety reasons, children cannot accompany parents into treatment rooms. Minors can be treated in the salon with written parental/guardian consent for basic beauty treatments. If a service must be rescheduled at the time of the appointment a surcharge will be applied. We thank you for your understanding.

Health Problems and Comfort Level

We would appreciate you notifying a Spa receptionist at the time of booking an appointment if you are pregnant, have allergies, high blood pressure, and any physical ailments or disabilities. This will enable the staff to prepare well in advance of the appointment so the best possible Spa treatment or therapy can be provided for you. The technician can address your needs while you are receiving your treatment, based on their personal assessment of you. Please communicate to the technician how you are feeling prior to, and during your treatment(s), or if there is anything else you would like us to address at that time.

What to Wear During a Treatment

Stars Beauty Day Spa does not have a specific dress code other than our clients being comfortable in their environment. During a Body Treatment it is recommended that those treatments are enjoyed without clothing, although undergarments may be worn if preferred. Professional draping is performed throughout the duration of the service for privacy.

Shaving

Shaving is not recommended before a Body Treatment or Men’s Facial. If you choose to disregard this recommendation, please ensure you shave no less than four hours prior to your service.

Cell Phones

We ask that all cell phones and other electronic devices are turned off during the time spent with us to ensure total relaxation for you and other clients visiting as well.

Spa Payment Enquiries

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, ATM, cash and gift certificates purchased through Stars Beauty Day Spa. Gratuities are not included with any of our Spa treatments.

Cancellation Policy

Please notify the Spa 24 hours prior to your appointment time if it is necessary to cancel or reschedule. Failure to do so will incur a $35 fee for services not cancelled in the time allotted.

Services and prices are subject to change. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone we deem unfit to be a client. The Spa is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
